Why do I have to wait for my pub suggestion to be approved?

All suggested pubs are manually checked and approved to ensure that:

  1. The pub exists.
  2. The pub has not already been added, perhaps under a similar name.
  3. The location data is accurate and as precise as possible.

Suggestions are usually checked daily, so it should not take long for your favourite pub to appear.

How do I add photos for a pub?

Upload your photos to flickr and tag them with the machine tag listed underneath the existing pub photos.

Why are my photos not showing up?

To reduce the load on the flickr API, we only check for changes to pub photos every six hours. Photos will automatically appear the next time flickr is checked for the pub in question.

How can I remove photos from a pub?

If the photos are in your photostream on flickr, simply delete the pubgateway:pub=X machine tags. The photos will automatically be removed from Pub Gateway within six hours.
